Max's First Day of Kindergarten

Max started Kindergarten this past Monday and so far, so good! Max was a little nervous in the first picture, but was so excited in the second one waiting for his teacher to open the door and welcome them, that he wouldn't look at the camera long enough. He resesrved his Lego Star Wars t-shirt for the special occasion, and made sure his teacher saw it when he walked into school. I was feeling pretty happy and strong until Max disappeared into the classroom, when a couple of silent tears crept up out of nowhere! But it was only a couple, so I did good :) Max rides the bus home from school with his fellow Kindergarteners, and he loves it! Craig had to work early that day so he wasn't able to see him off to school that morning, but made it home for lunch so he could see Max get off the bus. We're such suckers and thought it was just about the cutest thing ever to see Max's smiling face through the huge bus window as it pulled up! It was a fun day! We even went out to dinner to celebrate Maxter's big day!
