Christmas things

This cute little shrub was our very first Christmas tree.
We upgraded as of last year, so Max gladly took in the tree.

I was asked to sing for our ward Christmas party. I chose to sing "A Mother's Christmas Lullaby" by Kurt Bestor. I have not sung a solo since I got married (I think).
I was a little nervous, but at least my fingers didn't go numb!

We went to Temple Square to see the lights, as we do every Christmas.
Max is in a phase right now where he wants to wear sunglasses all the time. Here he is snoozin'.
We brought hot chocolate to rejuvinate ourselves after being out in the freezing cold!

Until next year........

I wish we had gone to temple square the first weekend the lights were up, when the weather was still good. Now it's the week of Christmas and we haven't gone, and I almost don't want to because it's so cold!

Looks like you guys are having a blast! And I love the children's museum too. That picture of Max doing the news is so cute. I need to take Emma back there again. She was only 9 months old when we went, and she didn't care about it that much then.

Max is such a cute boy. I dig his sunglasses! I'm so surprised you haven't sung a solo in so long! You're voice is so beautiful. I'm glad you sang!

The sunglasses picture was my favorite! It is so funny the things little ones choose to do. I only wish I could sing like you! Have a Merry Christmas!
