Missin' Cousins

No, Max wasn't kissing his cousins, just missing them.....although he may have tried while I wasn't watching :) We don't get to see my brother and his family as often as we'd like since they live all the way out in St. Louis. But we were able to see them this past weekend for my grandma's funeral (which, by the way was more of a happy occasion as we are sure she's in a much happier state and place). So all four of them - Brandon, Candi, and their two sweet little girls Brynn and Gwen - crashed at our place for the weekend and it was a blast. It was tricky, but we managed to squeeze four adults and three kids into our quaint two bedroom apartment, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. There was a lot of playing, wrestling, and laughing in our house and I know Max couldn't get enough of it. Thanks for a fun weekend, guys! We miss you like crazy!

Max really hates to say goodbye, but instead of his usual refusal to look anyone in the eye or shedding tears, he ran to the kitchen and came back yelling "don't forget your bananas!" I guess that was his way of sending them off with love!
Also, do you see these two people below? They are pretty cool. That beautiful lady on the left is the coolest sister-in-law anyone could ask for! She is thoughtful, creative, hilarious, generous, and so much fun! We are so lucky to have her in our family. The dude with the Hawaii shirt is also tons of fun, hilarious, smart, and the best big brother. He's a favorite. Ole!

I agree that this weekend was happy for everyone and a great way to get together. I LOVE when the Millers all get together. The past two mornings Tyler has woken up and said "Haynen" for Kristin's little boy.

I'm jealous you are going to be in paradise next week!
