Ok, so that beautiful beach photo a few posts back was of Kauai, where Craig and I, along with my sister Cassy and her husband Grant were able to go during Craig's Fall Break. It was wonderful! Although the weather was a bit overcast, it was still comfortably warm and pleasant. We even managed to get sunburned when the sun decided to peek out from behind the clouds. Did Max come with us, you ask? Nope. My mom was generous enough to fly out to Utah to watch Max while we were away. He had so much fun with his Nana and cousins that I don't think he missed us much! But I was glad about that since it really was nice to get away and spend more time with just my sweetheart.
Here are some shots of the beautiful Kauaian landscape. It's no wonder they call it "The Garden Isle" of Hawaii.

Kauai was my husband's favorite island out of all of the Hawaiian islands. How fun for you guys! It looks like you had a wonderful time.

What an amazing vacation! Those pictures turned out great. That makes it even more fun that you were able to go with Cass. One of these years I'll make it to Hawaii.
Andrea~~ how fun for you guys!! Especially to go without Max. I dream of one of those kind of vacations. One day though. We really need to get together. Brandon's Mom and dad will be here tomorrow for about a weeek but I was thinking maybe the next weekend after that? I will really call you next week and see what is good for you guys!!
